The occasion
A slow weekend in Maadi — farmers' market, a long breakfast, a walk under the trees. This is the most relaxed look in the collection, and probably the one I wear most.
Fabric & cut

Modest, never frumpy
The lace tee is sheer by nature, so I always wear an opaque white long-sleeve base underneath — the lace pattern still shows, and nothing else does. The cargo pants are full-length and the long cardigan covers the hips.
Styling alternatives
Knot the tee at the waist over the base for a sharper shape, or swap the cardigan for a denim jacket. White sneakers for day; tan sandals and a woven bag when it heats up.
